Ich finde Footage für Fakt und Fiktion, für Film und Fernsehen

ABOUT ME

I live and work in Berlin, hold a Bachelor's degree in European Media Studies from the University of Potsdam and a Master's degree in Film Cultural Heritage from the Film University Babelsberg Konrad Wolf. My passion for film is reflected in my experience as an archive researcher, licensing and rights clearance specialist for film and television productions. Through this work I want to contribute to the preservation and visualisation of cinematic treasures.

I am a proud founding member of GRAP (German Researchers and Archive Producers). As such, I stand for the highest standards in archive research and archive production.

DOK Archive Market - DOK-Leipzig

Full of anticipation and curiosity, we travelled to Leipzig on 20 October to present our newly founded association to the industry in a new format that we co-initiated, the DOK Archive Market. We had our website with us, which went online that day. It was a
great place for us, because DOK Leipzig is one of the most renowned festivals for
festivals for artistic documentary film, for which we also feel a calling.
We enjoyed our stay in Leipzig's beautiful old town, the expertise and friendliness of all the festival's many helpers and were delighted with the warm welcome we received from the festival organisers Christoph Terhechte and Nadja Tennstedt.
The atmosphere at the Zeitgeschichtliches Forum in Leipzig was particularly warm when we were finally able to meet our partners, the archives, face to face, with whom we had usually only been in contact from afar until then.
In a kind of speed dating "Meet the Experts", interested parties were then able to ask us
questions about archive material, footage research and rights clearance for their projects.
projects. During the networking session, we met many friendly, competent
and helpful people and immediately felt the desire to work together and make good films,
to work together and make good films. In the case study on Gladbeck:
The Hostage Crisis, our colleagues Monika Preischl and Janne Gärtner presented their work on the exciting and touching Netflix film GLADBECK (2018) in conversation with her team colleagues Juan Galva (Post-Production Supervisor), Yan Schoenefeld (Producer of Film Five) and Mark Edwards, Netflix's Director of Documentary Formats.
Many thanks to all the archives who revealed their treasures to us at the DOK Archive Market in Leipzig. With GRAP - German Researchers and Archive Producers, we now want to support, strengthen and secure each other and bring together the many lone fighters among us, whether freelance or employed, into a lively, friendly and professional community. We would like to thank everyone who was able to celebrate and organise this day with us.
